Nicole Sizemore, Private Swim Instructor

Introduction: As a private swim instructor, I pride myself in meeting the needs of my clients to help them achieve their swimming goals. My experience as a swim instructor for 14 years - coupled with my history as a USS Club and NCCA competitive swimmer - allows me to work with clients of varied skill levels, including swimmers with special needs. Water safety is a crucial and preventative tool to keep individuals safe around pools, water parks, lakes, rivers, oceans and even the bathtub. Knowing how to swim is a skill that can lasts through one's lifetime, and affords the individual more opportunity to participate in water-related activities - which are fun! I appreciate helping people become more safe and more comfortable around the water. It's an added bonus when these skills encourage a person to further develop their swimming technique, such as learning new - or improving - strokes, participating in a swim team, or training for a triathlon. It's a privilege to be a swim instructor, and it's also fun - I often mention to my clients how quickly the session flies by because teaching or coaching swimming hardly feels like work for me :-)
