- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a carpet cleaner for another company in Tucson when I started to have trouble breathing and being around the harsh chemicals after several years. I did my research and found a couple manufacturers that were starting to offer new green products that were better for the earth and the technicians as well as the clients health and well being. As I had experienced the dangers first hand of being around the traditional products I decided to to start my own company that only deals with safe products.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Careful of the old bait and switch where someone advertises a super-low price to convince you to schedule with them and when they arrive the price doubles triples or even worse. Most often these are found in "dandy dime type papers". When in doubt check with your local BBB to find a quality professional.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Most major carpet manufacturers recomend that you have your carpets deep steam cleaned by a professional atleast once a year depending on how many people or animals live in your household this could be extended or shortened by as much as 6 months.
