- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New customers begin by taking our introductory special which includes two half-hour private lessons with one of our professional instructors. We ask questions and discuss goals to know which dances to begin with, and which method is best for teaching each student. We then create a unique program for each student to meet their dance goals, and stay within their budget. We include group classes and staffed practice parties which help students to feel at home, among friends, and get the best practice money can buy. We offer events for each student to use as a goal to motivate their learning to the highest level, as well as give them a chance to be applauded for their efforts.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Shall We Dance has provided staff and students with continuing education from numerous national and world dance champions since 1997, the year we opened. We are blessed to work regularly with Ron Montez, Maja Serve, Bob and Julia Powers, Toby and Harmony Munroe, and countless others. In addition to the outside training, we provide staff a total of 5 hours per week of training in-house.
