- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically work for time and material. I will come to the job. Take measurements figure out the size and scope of the project and then roughly calculate the period for which the work shall last for. And then I will make sure that the customer is responsible for supplying and providing all materials. I can pick up materials with my vehicle, but will typically have the customer come with me to purchase them or order what materials are needed and have them delivered. That way they know exactly what they are buying and I am just a person installing or applying materials to the project.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a child, I grew up playing with Erector sets and Legos. And I also as a young child fix things around the house to help my mother and father. So as an adult, I naturally gravitated towards the construction industry for employment and a trade. I am trained in masonry, concrete, carpentry, roofing, drywall, cabinet installation, window, and door installation trim work and cabinet installation. I also like to build furniture and repair and refinish outdoor and interior finish furniture.
