The job was to replace a couple of square feet of tile surrounding the drain of a shower. The tile was removed when the drain stopped up a year ago. I'd provided a couple of photos and picked up the tile ready for Alex. The work seemed to go smoothly. He has a wide range of handyman experience and he's a likable guy. I've got another job for him.

Details: Bathroom • Tub or shower enclosure • Less than 25 sq ft • Ceramic • No, but I will buy the tiles myself

Alex installed our shower door and did a great job. He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He communicated during any step that required a decision which I appreciated. I would definitely use him again for many different tasks.

Alex installed a large dog door in my existing back door. He was incredibly responsive and communicative. He walked me through the full process and accommodated my communication preference, as I needed to text to avoid interrupting my workday. I searched on Thumbtack for a pro at around 11:30am, and within an hour everything was set up for Alex to complete the job same-day.

The work is high-quality and was done in about an hour, including clean up. My pup is larger and older with some arthritis, and the size and style of dog door that Alex recommended is absolutely perfect.
I’m so grateful for this quick and quality job!

Details: 2 - 5 hours (A few different projects) • Installation • Doors • Home

Alex is very knowledgeable in rough home building as well as finish work. Started the job on time, has completed brickwork on an old AC unit opening and resizing a window space in two days. It looks great! His experience and thoughtfulness in solution in projects is superior to other contractors we’ve worked with.

Details: Installation of new tiling or flooring • Installation of new cabinetry or fixtures • No, plumbing will not need to be relocated • No, electrical will not need to be relocated • No existing plans, but have a good idea of what I want • Residential • Owner
