Introduction: I created Luck Luck Japanese for learners who have no experience with the Japanese language, but are interested in learning. I also help college students with their Japanese language university classes (Nakama, Yokoso, Minna no Nihongo or any textbooks) , as well as AP/SAT Japanese preparation for high school students, and JLPT Preparation. I have had success with helping Japanese language students of all levels, and am capable of tailoring my classes to specific requirements to get the results my students expect. I have a passion for teaching my native language, and look forward to working with new students of all ages and experience levels! I have been teaching the Japanese language from preschool to college level, and privately for any age and any level students over 20 years. I teach not only the Japanese language but also about exotic Japanese cultures. If you have any question, please send me email!

Japanese is a complex language to learn for English speakers but Luck Luck approached her lessons with me with an eye to communicating key phrases. Her lessons were well-prepared and her interaction with me friendly and effective. I used the phrases, the numbers, and short sentences with the desired effect: communication. The people in Japan were surprised by hearing their language spoken by a short-term foreign visitor.

My teenage daughter has been taking Japanese lessons with Luck Luck for past 4 years. We all love Kazumi. My daughter is now quite proficient in reading both types of Japanese characters and can speak conversational Japanese. She has also learned so much about Japanese culture and history. She has accompanied Kazumi to several Japanese festivals and meetings and always had a great experience. I highly recommend Luck Luck!

I had worked to prepare for the AP Japanese test, and had gotten a full score of 5. The preparation not only enhanced my knowledge of Japanese, but also went over strategies and skills that were essential to getting a good score on the test.
