- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Living in the suburbs of NJ and my parents owning a home at the age of 10 I helped my dad do landscaping and odds and ends around the house. As it turns out the project was actually a trend setter. So much so that my neighbors wanted me to do the same thing to their yard and then It turn it to do you paint? Do you do till work, trim etc. it all came natural! I don’t know if it’s because of my perfectionist ways (which works against me at times) and being a natural born artist it may have given me an edge. Also my natural desire to want to help people and the seeing their smile after I had done something they wanted done and really like what I did. That I believe is what really got me started!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Know your budget. Expect more than what you see and if it is more than what you see be sure of what you want so you allow yourself to go over budget.
