If I could rate Stacy 100 stars, I would. I reached out to her just yesterday, and she came through at the very last minute to help me choose a paint palette for a home we’re renovating. I truly thought I could do it myself, but as usual, I became overwhelmed, second-guessed everything, and created a lot of unnecessary stress. It honestly felt like Stacy saved not only the day, but my sanity. I was so impressed by her attention to detail- she thoughtfully considered every aspect of our home: the floors, wood beams, existing furniture, tile, grout… nothing was overlooked. I just moved and I wanted help in decorating my new home. I contacted Solace by Design and she responded right away and we scheduled a day that worked for both of us. When she arrived, she asked me a few questions and went right to work on decorating my home. She put things together on my walls that I would have never even thought of to do! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My base price is $85p/hour or I am happy to quote a fee price for your project. I really like to work based on your budget and the size of your project…giving you the most bang for your buck that your budget allows.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I need to find out about you...your lifestyle, habits, tastes and especially your goals for your space! I will ask you to show me some pictures of what you like, via Pinterest (I'll make you your own board that we can both view!) Instagram, magazine clippings, whatever works for you! After I have a good idea of what you're looking for, I'll dive into your project!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned a degree in Interior Design at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in SF many years ago (yikes!) and have continued to take advantage of any opportunity to learn and grow as a design professional via industry webinars and workshops.
