Dr. Chris is excellent with our 8-year-old. He actually plays along during lessons, which makes a huge differencenothing beats the experience of jamming with a real musician to build confidence and timing.The setup is spot-on: real acoustic drums with proper ear protection. You cant replicate that feel and sound with electronic kits, and it shows in how much our kid has progressed.His technical instruction is solidcatches the small stuff before it becomes problematic and explains proper technique without being overly rigid about it. The studio is easy to find, and his rates are reasonable for what you get.Bottom line: our kid actually looks forward to lessons and is getting noticeably better. Thats really all you need to know.
