- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Individual returns begin at $150 (no after the fact fees tacked on!); Self-employed individuals filing a Schedule C will pay $225-$350, prices may fluctuate slightly, depending the complexity of your return; Prices increase by $25 automatically between March 1st - April 18th.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet with Client to discuss work that needs to be done; We will review last year's tax return before starting. During this interview, most of the tax preparation details are discussed and preliminary results are communicated to the client. In many instances, the client will receive a full copy of their prepared taxes and their taxes may even be e-filed during this meeting. We are an authorized IRS E-file provider.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
18 years of tax preparation experience with over 500 returns prepared each year; Master's Degree from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business with an emphasis in Accounting.
