FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm constantly researching to keep on top of the latest trends and styles. I'm also engaged to be married in March, so I'm seeing things through the eyes of a bride. It's very enlightening and I think it's making me a better photographer.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Completely by accident! I started in high school looking for the easy "A" by taking a photography class. I had no idea how much that one class would change my life! I found not only a fun class, but I found my true passion! I didn't have enough time in the day to spend in the darkroom (yes, I learned by using a darkroom, film and hand developing all of my images!). As soon as I graduated high school, I went to college and earned my degree in graphic design. Upon earning my degree, I found that photography and graphic design go hand in hand. I have a wonderful field that I am blessed to be able to work in and have no plans on retiring any time soon.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs I do for my clients is wedding photography. I also do a LOT of portraiture - from senior portraits, to family portraits, to maternity, baby and even pet portraits. I also do graphic design and photographic restoration. If it has anything to do with photography & design, you can bet that I've done it!
