I love the photojournalistic side. I find myself thriving in the unplanned, creative territories that you can't map out.
I love candidly capturing the laughter and fun of getting ready, and I love snapping away at all the little details a couple would ordinarily miss out on during the course of a day.
My goal is to always find and capture the natural moments infused with real emotion.
If I had to describe my style, I would say I am a storyteller who wants to create art for my bride and groom to cherish for years to come.

Tara has been absolutely amazing from the second I hired her. She was more than willing to answer any wedding questions I had no matter if they were related to photography or not. She is very responsive and cares about you're big day as if it were her own. She has become a dear friend and I am so thankful I found her to capture the unforgettable moments of my wedding day. We used Tara for my daughters senior portrait shoot. I showed my daughter all of the Thumbtack options and let her choose. Tara was friendly and easy to talk to on our initial consultation. I was not there for the actual photo shoot, but my daughter was happy. We will not have actual photos to view for another week, at that point I could give another review. For now though, we are pleased.

I found terra through thumbtack to do my newborn photography. She did an AMAZING job, was very patient with my little guy and us well. The photos came out great and they were sent to me in a timely manner. I loved that she came to the comfort of our own home and brought all her props with her as well as let us use our own. There were certain poses we wanted and she was open to all our suggestions. I would highly recommend Terra to anybody looking for a great affordable photographer!

Tara was absolutely amazing and made everyone feel very comfortable. She fit in so well with the wedding party which made the photos that much more enjoyable. Tara was very professional and took the time to listen to everything that we wanted. We received our full gallery earlier than anticipated and the photos are absolutely beautiful. Tara was an incredible asset to our wedding experience. From our initial contact to the final delivery she was prompt, courteous, professional and an overall pleasure to work with.
As far as our wedding is concerned Tara was there long before it started and stayed until every shot that we wanted was taken. Tara was fun to have at the wedding and made it comfortable when dealing with full family shots . We were completely speechless with the quality, uniqueness and the way she made it look so effortless and natural. The photos are completely beautiful! I will definitely use her services in the future and will be recommending her to family and friends! I would highly recommend Tara for any type of photography. Especially weddings!
