FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical process for new clients would be the initial messaging or phone call. At that time we ask a few questions about the project and than we schedule an appointment for a free inspection of the project followed with additional questions and clients preferences. Depending on the project the estimate may take 2 days or even a week. Once the client agrees to the estimate, a deposit is required which is half of the estimate, and then we mark the calendar to start the project. 95 percent of the time our clients utilize our pick up and drop off; rates are determined by distance. If there are any problems or change orders the client is immediately contacted in which we discuss the next step. Work will come to a halt until the client makes a decision.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My husband has participated in the Pima Community College woodwork certificate program.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started by refinishing my furniture then the family, and moved on to clients. My husband has worked for commercial and residential custom cabinets. He then helped me with my projects and began building new custom furniture. In the end our separate hobbies joined as one and we have been loving it.
