Chris was great. Excellent communication throughout. I used him to customize a kitchen island I bought online. He removed an overhanging barstool ledge on one side so it was a better fit for my kitchen. He also customized the wheels to be hidden underneath the island as I didn't want them to show or raise the height of the island. Wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

I hired Chris to make a custom tabletop case for a tv to use for D&D maps and it came out great! I had wanted one of these for years and now I finally have one. He was more than happy to take on a novel project and he totally nailed it. He even accommodated a tight turnaround time I needed for an event. I only wish I could post videos to thumbtack to give the full effect. If you’re looking for someone to do custom work, I would highly recommend grain with envy!

Chris did exactly what we requested. He harvested the hardware from our original front door and hung a brand new door after fitting it with the hinges & hardware. He completed the job in a timely manner and we are 100% satisfied!
