- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Was on my own at 16 and loved to work with my hands and create. I started as a painter during the summer and couldn't paint when freezing so I did Tile in the winter for 5 years before I went to sunny Fl. then got into finishing, texture and hanging drywall. Along with that went into commercial work and also did framing and drop ceilings. I was in commercial for 20 years and did most of my remodeling and repairs from other trades of the job.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do drywall repairs (water & fire damage) and interior remodeling the most. I have learned from my fellow construction workers to do minor electric and plumbing. I also went to school for AC repair.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
The job that is posted is not complete because of lack of money for material. It is what I have done for my mother. You can visit the McDonalds in Willcox and I was a big part of the remodel there.
