My training as a compassionate and effective listener comes not from a classroom, but from real-life experiences that have shaped my ability to connect with people on a deep, human level. • Lived Experience in Toxic Work Environments: Navigating high-stress and toxic workplaces taught me how to read between the lines, listen without judgment, and offer support when others feel unheard or undervalued. • Growing Up in the Foster System: Being part of the foster care system gave me firsthand understanding of what it feels like to be silenced or misunderstood. It taught me how important it is to have someone who truly listens—someone who doesn’t just hear your words but understands your pain, confusion, and strength. • Dealing with Family Alcoholism: Living with the impacts of alcoholism in the family sharpened my awareness of emotional cues and unspoken struggles. I’ve learned to hold space for people going through complex emotional dynamics, without shame or blame. • Giving Advice on Social Media: Over time, I’ve built a platform providing thoughtful advice online. Many people have reached out to me privately, trusting me with their stories. These conversations have helped me develop a non-judgmental, honest, and supportive communication style that people feel safe opening up to.
