Alicia Barnes, Spiritual Director

I have worked as a Spiritual Director for 15 years, journeying with individuals, groups and couples of all ages and stages in life. I have a Masters degree in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care from Talbot Seminary, with a certificate to practice Spiritual Direction. I will walk alongside you as you notice where God is moving, and where He is already at work. I am trained to listen deeply and prayerfully, helping you reflect on your lived experience and I will support your discernment in how God may be inviting you to respond. Together, we listen for the movements of the Spirit. This can be in the everyday norm, seasons of sweetness or in seasons of transition, uncertainty, dryness, or desire for deeper connection. Spiritual direction is for anyone seeking greater awareness of God, clarity around decisions, healing, or a more grounded and authentic spiritual life. I will create a safe, compassionate space where your story is honored, your relationship with God is centered, and you are supported in noticing and responding to God’s gentle invitations.
