Ryan is a fantastic guitar teacher. I have had many music teachers on many instruments at various times in my life spanning almost 50 years. Ryan is without a doubt one of the best, if not the best music teacher I have had. He is friendly, patient, responsive and most of all has an amazing ability with teaching. He has immense knowledge of guitar and music in general, yet is very flexible with teaching methods and is very good at tailoring lessons to the individual student rather than being dogmatic about a specific method. I have unfortunately fallen out of playing for the last several years for various reasons, but I hope to pick it up again soon, and when I do, I will for sure be contacting Ryan for some lessons! If you are interested in learning guitar or furthering existing skills, I highly recommend Ryan.

My 10 year old son started taking lessons with Ryan in September after not touching a guitar for two years. Im amazed at the progress he has already made . Ryan is very professional and ensures that if hes unable to attend a lesson , he provides homework for my son to work on in the meantime. Highly recommended!

Learning from Ryan was an awesome experience. Ryan is an insanely gifted musician and accomplished artist, but more importantly a great teacher and overall human. He is super patient and easy-going, which helps keep the lessons fun while still challenging. Highly recommend!

I first saw Ryan play at Bonnaroo in 2005 and followed his music closely ever since. When I moved to Denver, I hoped Id get the chance to learn from himand Im glad I asked. He was extremely friendly, easy to talk to, and totally professional with scheduling. He jumped in right at my skill level and immediately started filling the gaps in my playing and understanding.Ryan is truly one of the best guitar players and teachers on the planet. What can I say about Ryan?Not only is he a splendid human.
