I love MoveDIPR!!!! about 3 years ago when I was first introduced to its director and creator, Diona Pridgeon, my life was changed ! MoveDIPR is more than just a dance program. Its a program that teaches you how to connect and dig so much deeper , all the while showing you how to become one with the music and story-tell through movement.Its not just for contemporary dancers. I came back to dance and did so with contemporary movement. A few laters, I decided I felt more comfortable with street styles but always use what I learned this program also teaches you that part of being a good dancer , an artist really, is being diverse! I wouldnt be the dancer I am today without Diona and MoveDIPR! #dopeshit! #MDfam

As a young adult who has taken much time away from dance and originally shied away from the competitive dance scene growing up, I lacked the confidence to properly train as a dancer. After going through move DIPR's adult coaching program and eventually becoming a program apprentice and personal assistant to CD Dionna Pridgeon, I can say that I dance and improv with much more confidence, ease, and technique. Dionna PridGeon has helped me understand who I am as a dancer and person. She cares deeply about her students and wants what's best for them. I have assisted and danced for her. While assisting, I noticed that she gives a safe space for the dancers to truly feel themselves. She encouraged them to only be themselves and to not focus on others opinions because everyone and their art is unique and special. She has encouraged me to continue with my craft and I know she is always willing to help.
