Mizu has far exceeded my expectations as a cello instructor. As an adult beginner, learning the cello can feel intimidating, but she brings so much patience, kindness, and encouragement to the process. Even when I get frustrated with myself, she helps me work through the challenging parts without ever making me feel rushed or embarrassed.
She’s also been incredibly accommodating with scheduling, which I truly appreciate as someone balancing work and family. I feel so fortunate to be learning from her and honestly couldn’t have dreamed up a better teacher to begin this journey with. I wholeheartedly recommend Mizu to anyone considering cello lessons!

Mizu is an excellent cello teacher and I really felt like I was improving because of her. She was able to point out things I was doing wrong and worked with me on how to fix it. I really felt she took me seriously almost as if I was a student in the conservatory. I would say she is the best cello teacher I have ever had. I felt like like my sound quality improved because of her attention to detail and her great teaching skills. She had a way of simplifying things. She is very easy going and I highly recommend her. She is a standout teacher. I am so lucky to have found someone of her caliber.
