Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I'm not just a fixer. I like to help writers work through their ideas. I look for the seeds of ideas buried in a writer’'s work and will keep asking questions until we've figured out what’'s really going on. I develop an understanding of my client's material and target audience in order to achieve my client's objectives. I support my clients with research and brainstorming if necessary. It's great fun working with clients who write for so many different reasons. The best part of my job is to help them find or refine their ‘voice’, so it flows well and is true to their intention.

Tina was recommended to me by the National Book Council and is my editor for the Dylan Kim book series, a young adult, fictional adventure series. Tina is absolutely first-class in developmental editing, copy editing and line editing, combining masterly skills of story structure and the written word with a broad, deep knowledge of literature from which to draw her experience of what works and what doesn’t. Without a doubt, Tina’s suggestions and insights will transform, smooth and polish your manuscript into something wonderful. She is always professional and responsive and a pleasure to work with, but what impresses me most about Tina is her passion, commitment and personal involvement in my books. Seriously folks, if you’re searching for an editor, look no further… Jantzen Lee - author of the Dylan Kim series

I worked with Tina at the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre in Singapore as she was my managing editor at SALT. She was a joy to work with and was very saddened when she decided to leave. If I had another chance to work with her, I would do it in a heartbeat!

Tina worked on my staff for several years as a senior editor for new product development at Hallmark Cards. She was the ultimate creative professional, a strong writer and editor with great communication and presentation skills. When given an assignment, Tina always went the extra mile in learning about her subject and researching additional possibilities. She was resourceful in gathering information and both thoughtful and strategic in applying it to her project. Her work was always done on-time. She was an in- demand editorial partner among the artists and designers in our department.

Tina read my middle grade fiction manuscript. She focused on the plot and bigger picture ideas as well as the pacing. She got back to me in two weeks with a comprehensive list of revision ideas. Her notes put words and active direction to the dynamic and essential changes my manuscript needed. Tina presented her comments honestly, but not pushy. Not only does Tina offer insightful input, she is personable and quick to answer any emails. Also important to note, her pricing is very reasonable. Tina’s ideas have been the encouragement I needed to pursue publication and I look forward to working with her again.

Tina assisted me with the edit on my cookbook, "What the Heck's for Breakfast." Her input was professional, meaningful and well researched. She also assisted with input on graphics and suggested cover layouts. Her feedback was invaluable.
