- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We believe moving costs should be clear from the beginning. Our pricing is based on the crew size, type of service, moving distance, property access, and any packing or specialty handling required. Before you book, we explain all applicable rates and charges so you know exactly how your move will be priced. Any applicable travel time, materials, or specialty-service charges are disclosed upfront—no hidden fees and no last-minute surprises. Our moving service includes professional movers, a moving truck when booked, protective furniture blankets, dollies, straps, tools, and standard furniture disassembly and reassembly when needed. Most moving services have a 3-hour minimum, and new customers receive 10% off their first move.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by learning the important details of your move, including the date, pickup and delivery locations, home or office size, stairs or elevators, walking distance, packing needs, and any heavy or fragile items. Based on the information provided, we recommend the right crew size and send a clear estimate explaining the applicable rates and services. Once you are ready to move forward, we confirm your booking, reserve the date and arrival window, and provide the moving details in writing. On moving day, the foreman calls approximately 30–45 minutes before arrival. Our crew protects your furniture and property, completes standard disassembly when needed, carefully loads and transports your belongings, and places everything in the requested rooms at delivery. We complete standard furniture reassembly when needed and finish with a final walkthrough to make sure the move has been completed properly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
COMFY MOVING is a fully licensed and insured moving company. Our movers receive hands-on training and supervised experience in safe lifting, furniture protection, professional packing, efficient truck loading, and the proper use of moving blankets, dollies, straps, and tools. Our crews are trained to protect floors, walls, doorways, furniture, and fragile belongings throughout the moving process. They also receive practical instruction in standard furniture disassembly and reassembly, organized loading techniques, safe handling procedures, and professional customer communication. Every move is completed according to our company’s standards for safety, care, efficiency, and respectful service.
