Introduction: Tara is a therapist who specializes in working with individuals, couples, and families struggling with addiction, trauma, personality disorders and mood disorders. She has been trained in DBT and has extensive experience facilitating DBT skills groups at several residential treatment facilities. She was also a primary therapist at a treatment facility specializing in co-occurring disorders, in which she faciltiated DBT skills groups and provided individual DBT when indicated. Tara currently leads the adolescent DBT skills group at the DBT Center of OC and conducts individual DBT sessions, which includes pretreatment, orientation, and phone skills coaching in between sessions. In addition, she participates in a weekly DBT therapist consultation meeting.
