Personal Training
PT for ELDERLY PARENTS? Ryan McNeely is your man! We siblings gifted PT to our overweight, diabetic father for his 80th birthday, which he begrudgingly accepted. All prior efforts to get him moving & off the couch had failed. It was a hopeful, last ditch... Dad is precious cargo & we were skeptics. Covid19 & a stranger in his home? I interviewed 15 Personal Trainers (a sometimes loose term, beware!) Thumbtack professionals aside, (thank you, reviewers!) my search narrowed to three.. 1. Ryan’s credentials are sound. 2. Initial Complaint: Age 33yrs, we’d hoped for older. R’s an “old soul,” is experienced, knowledgeable, professional & has been in business over 10yrs; 2017 w/Elderly Clientele. 3. He teaches the “what/why” of anatomy, while training. 4. Is a “Nutrition Guru.” 5. Along w/making training enjoyable, Ryan incorporates “Vibration Therapy” to relax tight muscles. (Ah, Sciatica!) 6. Ryan’s aspirations of “Life Coach” are apparent: Patience & intuitiveness led to dad opening up & also saying that PT was something he looked forward to. 7. R requests a Doctors Release to begin training. If a PT doesn’t ask? (Many didn’t) “No thank you.” •Ryan’s sessions have Dad doing slow, “chair work outs.” •He taught dad how to get up, unassisted by anything, from a seated position & walk short laps. This is HUGE! •Dad’s motivated to do workouts on his own, Yay! •We are grateful to #1 PT that I am proud to call “friend,” who helped teach our dad to do, what we could not. Sincerely, Julie Robles Zuro, Brother & Sister

Personal Training
I was looking for someone to help my dad. He has mobility issues but very capable of working out and just needed some guidance to be active again. I went looking online and found Ryan and we are glad we did! When had our first meeting he was so great taking the time to explain to us what we could do and what exercise program we could design for my father. I would not trust just anyone to work with my dad and am so grateful that we found Ryan. My dad really looks forward to their workouts and calls me to tell me about them. Ryan has found away to empower my dad in his physical health that is inspiring. Ryan has been very communicative and made the whole process easy. I trust him with my family which is the highest review I could give to anyone.

Ryan has done an excellent job of discerning our current level of ability. He has put together an achievable exercise program that pushes us each week with an optimistic outlook on our continued progress. He educates and motivates while introducing a variety of do-able workouts. Whatever your level of activity, I highly recommend this talented trainer.

Personal Training
Hi! I hired Ryan to give me a much needed kickstart (due to a period of inactivity after experiencing some health issues) and I’m glad I did! Ryan is friendly, knowledgable and he communicated efficiently about future appointments. He instinctually knew the level at which I needed to work in order to get strength and motivation back. The sessions were enjoyable and the time flew by quickly. Now I’m back in the swing of things! I will call him again if I start to get off track again. Thanks, Ryan!

Personal Training
I am introverted and suffer a bit from social anxiety, so pushing myself to go to the gym to get in shape when I really had no idea what I was doing or how to do it was something that probably wasn't going to happen on its own. Immediately upon meeting Ryan he made me feel a lot more comfortable and less stressed about getting into shape. He makes sure to push you when you need it, but is also empathetic, and is able to see what I need to help me through my own personal struggles of getting in shape. On top of that, he makes workouts enjoyable, is never too serious, and educates a lot along the way. He's flexible with his time and is always a very quick text away if I ever have any questions or concerns. One of the most professional and effective people I've met and worked with, and most importantly someone you can call a friend.
