Wish I could give more than 5 stars! This relocating crew was AMAZING. My family and I were moving 70 miles away, after looking over a few companies this was an obvious choice. We hired 3 guys ALL were sincerely NICE and ACCOMMODATING. The owner Mario was hands down a pure professional, his crew Oscar, and Antonio were so hard working and awesome! Did I also mention how affordable this company is? We were moving so every penny was limited. BEST prices than anyone on the Internet. HIRE THIS COMPANY don't waste time looking for anyone else. Believe me, I don't post reviews but I felt I HAD too in this case.
I called Wesley on Saturday morning after another mover flaked out. Wesley made it happen! The next day at 11am, our moving crew was on the spot! Wesley and Shift It, are life savers!. A few nicks and dings, but we made our move, and we are happy. That Shift It crew is so much fun, my room mate bought lunch, and we are planning to invite them for the housewarming party!
Excellent local moving experience with Chris and Steve from Tony's delivery and labor. Tony called to confirm the day before the move and even checked in with me at the halfway point. I would definitely use this service again.
I couldn't be happier! Frank is extremely professional, he knows what he's doing and his rates are fantastic. Plus he's a extremely friendly guy--an attribute that can take a lot of stress away when moving into a new space and trying to assemble furniture etc. He was communicative throughout the day, showed up early and built a fairly complex IKEA bed in less than two hours. All at a great rate!! I could not recommend Frank enough. Thanks again sir!!
Thanh helped me with a ton of different tasks around the house. He was very professional and had an excellent work ethic. I had a variety of tasks such as moving furniture, building bookshelves, mounting wall shelves, painting a bedroom, etc. He did a great job on everything. I highly recommend Home Tonic for any type of handy work!
The 2 movers were very friendly, thorough, and careful with my personal belongings. Due to unexpected traffic jams, the movers called and texted me ahead of time to alert that they might be late. They kept me in the loop on their arrival status. The movers were efficient. It did not take long to move my 1 bedroom apartment. And it took even less time to unload my things in the new apartment. I had some bulk items for donation that Salvation Army wouldn’t take. But the movers were kind enough to haul those things away as well. I’m always skeptical of services that charge by the hour. But this unit worked efficiently, as previously noted. I use online services quite a bit, but rarely leave comments. However, I was so thankful to have found News Moving Co., that I wanted to sing their praises (online of course). We all have so many choices of vendors that it is easy to be overwhelmed. I like to give the small/local companies my business when possible, and I was rewarded in the professional yet personal service that this company showed me. If you are needing to move small items or have a really big moving project, News Moving Co. is the way to go. They are fast, friendly and affordable priced. I’m hoping to stay in my new place a few years, but when it’s time to move, New Moving Co. will be the first call I make!
Hiring movers was the best thing I've ever done and 5 Star Moving made it such an easy experience! I requested a quote to move from Carson, CA to Sacramento, CA, which is roughly 400 miles. After I reached out to them, Mike came to my apartment for an estimate. Just a few hours later I received an estimate in my email. I was looking at another moving company that my parents had used previously, who had quoted us a lower quote. 5 Star Moving matched the price when I asked them! A day before the move they confirmed with me via email and everything was ready to go. Mike and Azo were extremely professional, hardworking, and fast. They're very friendly and polite, but didn't waste time chitchatting. They moved my 800 sq ft apartment on the 3rd floor in under 2 hours and I was able to hit the road earlier than scheduled. They showed concern regarding the stress put on my cats while they were emptying the apartment, which I really appreciated. The guys wouldn't let me carry anything so I just sat back and relaxed! Before they left, they explained how many rest stops they would be taking and how long their breaks would be. On the road, they kept me updated with ETAs through text. Of course since they were driving a truck I beat them to Sacramento, but I wasn't worried since I knew exactly when I should be expecting them thanks to their updates. They unloaded the truck really quickly and nothing had been broken or damaged. They were no doubt tired, but said they were going back to LA the same night! With a total driving time of roughly 16 hours round trip for them, I really appreciate the quick and friendly service Mike and Azo provided. I would recommend these guys and 5 Star Moving 100%. The only thing I'm sad about is that they don't have a base in the Sacramento area so I can't hire them again the next time I move! =)
The actual moving costs were slightly less than the estimates and the amount of time to do each was right on. The movers themselves were very careful during the moving process to make sure everything was packed and padded appropriately. When moving furniture up and down the stairs they were very careful not to bump into the walls. I was so impressed with the first moving team (lead by Miguel) that I asked for the same moving team for the second move which was much larger and more difficult. I hadn't moved in the last 20 year, I wasn't sure what to expect and did a lot of research. I was very happy with my choice in Qshark moving company!

Barry and his team of guys were amazing! My fiancé and I moved into a new house and we weren’t 100% sure about how we wanted the furniture arranged. These guys were totally happy to shift things around for us here and there until we were totally happy. Really amazing considering all the heavy lifting and hard work. I would most definitely use Flash moving again and will reconmend then to anyone I know who’s in the process of moving. Thanks again guys!
He moved a large, heavy credenza. It was turned down by 3 charitable organizations that wasted my time by assuring me on the phone it would be removed, but each time their movers rejected it. Brett is careful, professional and pleasant.
Could not be happier with Nicks work! His team helped me move my family from a tricky upstairs apartment into our new home. He showed up 5 mins early and busted his butt until the job was done! Most people (including me) would rather go to the dentist than have to go through the process of moving. Nick made the worst part of moving a breeze. I was in desperate straits in a need to move all the furnishings of one duplex (that would be two fully furnished units) - into to a larger back unit in very short order. I was recommended to PTM Movers here in Los Angeles by a friend. I spoke at length with the proprietor, David L., and it became readily apparent to me that by the end of our conversation that David of PTM Movers - highly valued the reputation of his company and they services offered. At that point I decided to take the gamble, particularly given the fact that I had delicate furniture items that were at once weighty, unwieldy, and required kid gloves in order to get them from point A to B. Within the short request time of 24 hours, PTM Movers sent his team; T&T Moving Co., and I can only attest that in my days of moving, I have never been more content. I've got to say that Tim and his crew don't bump and grind and clobber. They glide effortlessly and follow a very structured efficiency hierarchy established by Tim himself. Although it may not be obvious to the naked eye of the nervous home-owner or renter who values their possessions, there is skill to moving, and the distinction between experienced and not becomes quickly obvious. And Tim and his fellas come very, very prepared and take every precaution. You practically have to implore them to rest for a few moments and rehydrate - that's how devoted to do a great job they are. You want your moving job done properly by a company that understands and respects the power of "word of mouth" and stakes their reputation on it, then I highly endorse PTM Movers of Los Angeles.
It was a last minute moving request. We have booked an appointment with other moving company, but they didnt show up in the last minute. These guys really helped us. They quoted the lowest for moving between LA and Irvine out of 10 other moving companies that i talked to. The loading just took around 1 and half hours for one bed and unloadingn was faster than that. This is my second moving in last two years and all the previous movers were hourly based and took 2-3 hours just for loading alone. Over all it was a happy experience. I would like to recommend these guys to anyone!

Honestly I would recommend these guys over and over again. I called them with a 24 hour notice of moving a 1bdr and they were the only moving company to be able to accommodate my needs. I had Edward and Sergei as my movers and these guys were professional, friendly and hard working and made this whole stressful situation into a more relaxing experience. They handled my belongings with great care and took the time to make sure I understood all that was being done.
I used Ben Hur Moving to move both my house and my office in the last month. I was very impressed with the professionalism and responsiveness of the company from my first contact with them. My house move was a big one and the team who came (arriving early too) really did an excellent job. Given that it was a townhouse with lots of stairs, they managed to make it look easy. We even had them move our grand piano and they problem-solved to get it out of a very tight space. The guys were very professional, courteous, careful and pleasant to spend the day with - and it was a whole day! Even a small issue relating to an additional truck was resolved by Nicole the day after the move. For my office, Nicole was very helpful and flexible regarding my dates. The crew arrived on time and got right to work. One of the guys was even part of the crew who had moved my house. This was a quicker move but required navigating through an antiques store. The guys were professional and made sure to be extremely careful with my property as well as all the antiques in the store which they had to navigate. Overall, I feel fortunate to have found Ben Hur Moving to look after what was a very busy and stressful month. They are extremely responsive to any issues, informative and helpful (I purchased additional insurance and we went over the parameters of that together), as well just making me feel like a valued customer.
Marcus went above and beyond. He was understanding and easygoing when it came to helping us with our move. We have a few more home improvement projects that we hope to work with Marcus again on.
Although they had mechanical problems with their truck, they took the necessary steps to make arrangements with another moving company to help me move at the same time and price. Both companies were very professional and courteous.
This is an extremely late review, but I steel feel the need to say this. This is an AMAZING COMPANY . I moved back to Los Angeles from Corona, and I needed professional services for all of my large furniture. I have a four bedroom fully furnished home, and there was no way I was going to be able to pack and move all of that furniture, even with a crew of friends. It was short notice, and I called at least five different companies .The estimated quotes were expensive from the other movers, and the customer service of some of them were questionable (I will review those companies on their respective yelp pages). From my first contact with the owner of Moving Packing Group , I knew I was speaking with a professional. I called and left a message, and he responded within 20 minutes. I told him my situation, and he was able to give me a reasonable quote considering the distance, and amount of furniture that I was moving. When the time came to move, the movers packed up the furniture and the items that I weren't able to, and packed all of my rooms in the moving truck in less time than google suggested it would take (Yes I google everything.. LOL). One thing that stood out was the care that the movers put into my belongings, and their level of professionalism. My furniture was delivered and set up the way that I asked for it to be, and in the SAME CONDITION that it was taken from in my previous home. Although this company is in Anaheim, they service all Orange County cities and Los Angeles. I would use this service again for cross country move. Moving is a hassle in itself, and I am happy that I had those experienced movers from Moving Packing to help me during this stressful time of relocating.
We have moved several times and a few times across country. Our experience with Great Nation Moving was by far the easiest and hassle free experience that we have had with moving. They sent over an appraiser who was able to give us a quote after walking through our house and seeing what we owned and were moving. He was within $50 of our ending price, so it extremely accurate. The pricing was in-line with several other companies that we had quote out the job. Rose, their sales/account manager, was great. We explained that we needed to move from within a specific time frame, and they were able to accommodate to our schedule. We were driving to our new home as soon as the movers were done packing everything up, and they even accommodated a faster pack up by adding an additional member to the crew packing up our belongings. They delivered our items in less than a week, which was much faster than our past experiences. Rose kept me posted on the progress of everything throughout the process and seemed to be working 24 hrs a day to make sure we were comfortable and in the know of what was going on. She even called within 30 minutes of the delivery of our items to see how everything went. We did have some slight damage on one item, which we were not bothered with as the item was beat up from a previous move. Without us filing a complaint, Rose was able to get us a check to cover the damages. Overall it was some of the best customer service I have experienced. Its always a headache and there is always the hidden issues that pop up along the way, however, I felt Rose kept us in the know and ahead of the curve with the move. That goes a long way when you have literally everything you own in their hands.
