FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally price based upon the duration of the job plus any materials. Labor estimates are based upon experience and industry standards such as NEIS/NECA and RS Means. Materials are added with a small markup to cover the cost of handling. Larger projects are discounted based upon volume.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to take some time to talk to the customer personally or on the phone if possible rather than through text or email. Doing so allows me to ask questions that enable me to understand exactly what the customers needs are. This way I can provide an accurate estimate. One that the customer can count on.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a California C-10 Electrical Contractors License and have training certificates demonstrating competency in the National Electical Code, NFPA 70E Electrical Safety in the Workplace, Project Estimating, and many others.
