Choose the therapist that seems right for you. There are many different therapists with different styles and talents. One that may be perfect for someone else, may be not the best fit for you. On the other hand, there are some people who leave their therapists when they feel challenged or uncomfortable with the material that is coming up for them. In this situation, growth may be slowed by that tactic. A balance of these two aspects (selection, and commitment) is the advice I would give.
