FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard fee is $60/hour for 1 on 1 classes (ask about more than 1 client). I charge an additional $10 for travel greater than 10 miles from my home, and reimbursement for parking and tolls as appropriate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first session is typically divided into 2 sections - the first is getting to know my new client and what brings them to yoga. We discuss what they would like to try or deepen and tailor an experience that works for them. We end with a sample of what that experience would look like and then we go from there, adapting our time together as meets the needs of the clients unfolding path. For clients that know what they want, we can also focus on that as well after a few minutes of discussion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed both my RYT200 and RYT500 training where I gain proficiency in yoga asana (poses/mat yoga), meditation, and pranayama. I’m currently enrolled in Meditation Teacher Training to deepen that aspect of my practice. I’ve also spent time in India with a holy man (sadhu), and taken Kirtan College with David Newman and Mira as well as Kirtan Camp with Jai Uttal.
