- What types of customers have you worked with?
I teach guitar and bass lessons to students ranging from age 8-60. My students range from beginner to advanced players. Lessons are half hour or an hour long and usually consist of work on technique, scales and chords, developing rhythmic feel, and working towards the ability to play full songs and improvise. I individually tailor my lessons to the needs of each student so they fully benefit from our time together with an approach that works for them.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You have to take at least one lesson with a music teacher to truly be able to judge if they are beneficial for you. If you leave a lesson inspired to practice, you have found a good teacher! Just because someone graduated from the best school does not necessarily mean they are the best teacher.
