FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A single session is $250, and most clients choose a package — five sessions for $1,125 (a $125 saving) or ten for $2,150 (a $350 saving). Which one fits depends on what we're working on, and I'll give you my candid read in the free consultation, including when the smaller option is all you need. I don't accept insurance, so fees are out of pocket, though sessions may be FSA/HSA-eligible with a letter of medical necessity. No hidden fees, and I won't recommend sessions you don't require.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It begins with a free consultation: you describe what you'd like to change, and I tell you honestly whether hypnotherapy is a good instrument for it. If we proceed, the first session runs longer — we get specific about the pattern or habit you want to shift, including when it appears, what sets it off, and what it costs you, and then you have your first experience of hypnosis. From there, sessions are focused and build upon one another. [ADD IF TRUE: You'll also receive a brief personalized audio recording to use between sessions, so the work continues on your own time.] We measure progress against what you named at the outset, and when the change is holding, we conclude.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm an ACHE-certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (CCHt, #HT-525-080), with advanced training under Randal Churchill, among the most respected teachers in the field. I am a certified regression specialist and hypnotic dreamwork specialist. I also hold a master's degree in psychology and bring more than a decade in the helping professions. I make one distinction clear from the start: my background in psychology informs how I work, but I am not a licensed psychologist or psychotherapist, and hypnotherapy is not medical or mental-health treatment — it is structured personal-development work. When someone needs licensed care, I refer them to the right professional. Understanding the boundaries of this work is part of practicing it well.
