- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in English from the University of California at Berkeley and some great on-the-job training from various mentors.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Lately I've been writing taglines, which is fun, and have done some copywriting. I've also been writing and editing a lot of proposals and marketing materials.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Well, naturally you want to look for someone with a lot of experience :-) who has the confidence to wade right into your project without wasting any time. You also want someone who is thinking about your project from all angles and aspects, who maybe has a grasp of your industry and audience and knows how to pitch to them most effectively, who knows how to generate content as well as shape and polish it, if that's what you need.
