Stephanie is a wonderful French teacher and I am so sorry we have to say goodbye (but we are moving to Montreal). My twin daughters began 5 months ago with absolutely no French experience and learned a tremendous amount simply from their weekly sessions with Stephanie. I believe that working with a quality tutor is the best way to improve your French (unless you can be immersed in a French-speaking environment, that is!). I started with Stephanie in November 2016 and continued until I had my baby in April 2017. She is a great teacher. Lessons are enjoyable and varied, but she doesn't let you get away with poor pronunciation or mistakes! She clearly takes time to prepare for each class and tailors content to your needs and preferences. This way, you can see real progress. I was quite overwhelmed at first but gradually things begin to click and it's a great feeling. Thank you, Stef, I look forward to continuing soon!

Truly wonderful.
She is committed to her work and you can tell that she is enjoying it. Never boring. She stretches her students. She makes learning French fun and interesting. Very flexible with her time. You would be pleased with her professional attitude. Lessons are very well structured.

During that time, I traveled all over the world and became acquainted with numerous cultures. I have also worked as a teacher of French and English. I'm a bilingual interpreter and translator.
