I've only had one session with Mike so far but I he truly has a lot of knowledge of tennis technicalities and fundamentals too. I know if I keep training with him my game will definitely improve! Anyone who takes his sessions will be great!

Mike is an experienced coach. Even after just a few sessions, he’s already helped fix several issues in my technique. I believe with continued training, I will be able to improve faster.

Great coaching. Pays attention to detail on my strokes and is able to give actionable feedback. Even after the first lesson I was able to see my technique improve drastically. Makes me more excited to play and practice tennis!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Two people can do one session for the same price. You may inquire about discounts if we do 2 hours twice a week or more.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process is on the mentally challenging side. Most clients are not there to enhance timing on one shot. I do not like to focus on one shot/technique the whole class, particularly for beginners. People need to learn how to hit all different angles in different positions to get a sense of the sport and why it is good to use one technique vs the other. I like when my clients can leave me feeling they have something to work on during their own time if possible because I have given them many things to consider and grow from there. My goal is not to have clients feeling slow progressions as a way to entice them to coming back, until they realize how helpful, insightful, and fun I may be.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
-Childhood coaching from Braemar and Mountain Gate country clubs. Lessons from all available coaches.
-UCLA tennis camps
-USTA tournaments from the age of 10-18
-previous #10 in the world men ATP and Davis cup player. This person has hired me as his right hand coach to run his nationally ranked junior program. He has given me personal lessons, taught me how to run large groups for high performance tennis classes, how to work with people using different grips/styles.
