FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The hourly rate includes a fully certified and insured bartender (or server) as well as a full bar kit including ice scoop, mixing tins, jiggers, stirring spoons etc. Available upon request: THE SMOKING GUN, cocktail smoker... the coolest feature of any mobile bar service. A gun that literally makes your drink smoke, while at the same time adding a delicious hickory flavor to some of your favorite cocktails. We also offer mobile bar rentals, glassware, coolers, liquor service, ice service and garnish for an additional cost.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Ten years ago I worked my way up in a local sports bar from barback and busboy to lead bartender. I also became certified in the art of mixology. I knew it was something I loved immediately but took a break to pursue a position in a different customer service based industry. A couple of years later I decided to pursue event Bartending to combine my passion of Bartending with my love for event planning and coordinating. It wasn’t long before I started running the company that hired me for events, booking and communicating with customers as well as creating menus and cocktail themes for their events. In that time I grew the company from ten events a weekend to over sixty. One thing I realized after that growth was that when you are that large you cannot possibly show each and every customer the full attention necessary to guarantee a five star job, as well as hand pick each staff member. I decided to start my own company a couple of years ago and have since enjoyed the business much more and have given nothing short of a five star experience to anybody.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with everybody from joint catering companies, small groups in apartments, large weddings and festivals, music concerts, conventions, political events including for the mayor and numerous celebrity events.
