I needed exclusion work in my attic, which is extremely big and so complex, that I am still trying to strategize breaking up the work into several jobs instead of having it done all at once. Out of all the people from Thumbtack who came to inspect it, Nikolai was the ONLY one who was professional. He was not afraid to just go up there and carefully examine every part of the attic, asking questions and following instructions to walk only on the beams. The other so-called pros did not even go inside. They popped their head in and took a casual look with a flashlight and did not even go up into the attic. This was a waste of my time and theirs because I fully informed them beforehand of the condition of the attic. Well, most attics are dusty and dirty unless it's a newly built house. I know not all handymen have experience with attics or exclusion work but once again, he was the only one who showed professionalism . Also, his English is good so there was no problem communicating. Only Nikolai showed professionalism and was took the job seriously. For this alone I am giving him a good review even though he never asked for it. In the interim, I am still trying to decide precisely how to tackle the job into different smaller jobs so that it gets done properly.
