Fluent in Italian since birth. Born and raised in Italy, I am passionate about sharing the Italian language and culture with everyone around me. From beginners Italian all the way to full fluency I will be there with you every step of the way to guide you towards speaking Italian and learning about my country and its culture.

A little about me: I was born in Como, Italy. I spent my entire adolescence in Italy studying languages, as well as Italian grammar. I moved to the United States 30 years ago. Since then I go back and forth from US to Italy, due to my entire immediate family being in Italy. Ever since I moved to the United States I found a passion in sharing the Italian language and culture with everyone around me. I used to teach Italian to all ages in a classroom environment, where I taught beginners to advanced fluent Italian speakers. I now dedicate my time to private lessons either in home or at a meeting location of your choice where I am happy to share my passion for everything Italian with you.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge per hour however if you you would like to book more than one lesson a week I’m happy to provide a discount!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first meeting will be an assessment to get to know your level and where you like to focus your studies. We can determine your knowledge you already have about Italian, and start lessons from a level you feel comfortable with. We will also discuss what you want to focus on, such as conversational Italian, school work, college Italian course assistance, Italian literature, etc. The most important part to me is creating a tailored experience for each student, ensuring they are receiving the best possible course material for their level. It will also ensure you get the most out of every lesson we have together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up and did all of my GE’s in Italy, where I took various different Italian literacy and writing courses. I also have years of teaching experience with various levels, from beginners basic Italian to professional full fluency Italian speakers.
