My experience with Ethos is from an apartment owners perspective. I was fed up with my previous propertymanagement company. They mismanaged my property, rented to some destructive tenants, and became unresponsive during the Covid rent moratorium. Luckily, a friend recommended Ethos and I’m so thankful. The moment Ethos took over management of my property, I felt like I could breathe again. I thought I was going to have to sell my property but they stepped in and were so nice and the tenants are so much happier. The communication and service is great.

I have worked with Darren at Ethos Properties for several years now. I live in another State and my home is in Los Angeles. Darren gets it rented and leases signed sealed and emailed to me in no time at all. He vets each tenant and so far I’ve had the most incredible experience. I couldn’t live and breathe without Ethos Properties as I would be constantly worried about what was going on. They take care of everything I beed and fast. I wouldn’t use anybody else.

Ethos took over my portfolio and handled all of my big ticket maitenence items in the most cost-effective way. They initiated evictions on my noncompliant tenants and added value to my buildings while providing quality service to my tenants. I’m so happy.

ETHOS is forever aces in my book. I will try and keep this short and to the point but the company as a whole is absolutely WONDERFUL to work with. Knowledgeable, responsive, friendly, helpful, and kind. Even after working with Darren for a couple years, he still surprises me with excellent service and expertise. Everyone at ETHOS is terrific. Highly recommend!!! If you don't hire them you'll never truly know what great service and to be treated like family feels like from people you trust with your home/property.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is standard to the industry. Most real estate transactions are 2.5% per transaction side. And property management starts at 5%. Investors may want to discuss options for commission.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All Ethos Properties team members are highly trained. We believe in continued education.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Our broker, Darren Gaertner, has been in the real estate industry for over 10 years. Specializing in high end estates and investment properties, such as foreclosures and “subject to” purchases.
