I cannot recommend Rufus Choi's Salit Conservatory of Music highly enough! Beyond his exceptional teaching technique, Mr. Choi has a genuine love of music, making every lesson something to look forward to. He creates a supportive and positive environment where students feel comfortable to explore their musical abilities and grow. His dedication and commitment to my son as he underwent the arduous college music conservatory process was unparalleled. Salit Conservatory has been an incredible asset in our lives.

Salit is just different. I have had a few teachers before trying them and I feel like I am finally somewhere that understands what it is like to be an adult taking lessons. My lessons always thorough and are clear and I feel supported. I'm glad I came.

I can’t say enough about Salit! Such a wonderful gem in the heart of Burbank. The facility is beautiful, teachers kind and gracious. Safe space and high level of education I’ve yet to find at other music schools. Hard to find good school for adult students, they cater to both kids and adults, but I don’t feel like I’m taking lessons “designed for kids” and the facility matches that vibe. Can’t recommended enough!

My son has been taking voice lessons at Salit Conservatory of Music, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we arrive, the onsite parking is spacious and easy, and the walkway leading to the school is beautiful—it's such a welcoming atmosphere. My son actually gets excited every time we come for his lesson!
The teachers are incredibly kind and professional. What stands out to me is their emphasis on teaching the fundamentals of music, not just focusing on entertaining aspects. In a world that often values instant gratification, I appreciate how they encourage my son to nurture his skills and explore the deeper meaning and value of music. It’s been such a rewarding experience watching him grow in both talent and character.

As both a former student and current teacher at Salit Conservatory of Music, I can confidently say this is a truly remarkable institution. Under the guidance of Rufus Choi, not only I have developed as a pianist but I also grew immensely as a person. His mentorship was transformative, and his dedication to teaching inspired me to achieve milestones I never thought possible. He is a very kind, supportive, and an amazing teacher. He is very inspiring too.
Now, as part of the teaching staff, I’m constantly reminded of how special this place is. The atmosphere is incredibly warm, kind, and supportive, with a team that values professionalism and honesty above all.
