Introduction: My desire is to bring the practice of yoga to every person, every body. I love helping each individual find their own connection to the practice and peace in the present moment. I enjoy teaching yogis that are new to yoga and helping them to discover their own understanding of what it can mean for them, as well as teaching yogis of more advanced levels to assist them in their growing connection with their bodies and breath. Cortney has a lovely personality and brings great knowledge and teaching technique. There were a few things I wanted to focus on and she helped me analyze what I was doing and had multiple suggestions for different ways to improve which I continue to use today, several weeks later. Her instruction was a great value and I plan to reach out to her again in the future

Cortney is the perfect yoga instructor if you’re getting started with yoga! She was patient and answered all my questions before our first session. Cortney is an absolute gem and she brings such a fantastic energy to her practice. As a beginner when it comes to yoga, I was a bit nervous at first. However, Cortney’s warm energy, presence, and instruction put me at ease while still pushing me through some of the more challenging poses in her sequence. I can’t speak highly enough of her, and would recommend her to those of any experience and all levels when it comes to yoga. A fantastic instructor and a fantastic human as well.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing reflects the quality of my training and knowledge as a yoga instructor in addition to taking into the private session itself, the time spent sequencing and planning the class for each specific yogi, and possible travel time.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would like to discuss with you your past experience in yoga or if you are new to the practice what has brought you to your mat now. We can go over what you are wanting specifically from the practice (peace, mobility, strength, flexibility) so we can create specific goals so that I can plan ahead for in the sequences. I will also need to be aware of any injuries, aches and pains.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed my 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification at CorePower yoga in Los Angeles as well as an addition 50 hours extension training. My emphasis is in Hot Power Fusion (Heated Yoga, Bikram Derived) as well as Vinyasa.
