- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every session is unique, so pricing depends on the type of photography, location, coverage time, and project needs. I believe in transparent pricing with no hidden fees, and I'll provide a clear quote upfront. Travel may apply for locations outside my service area, and a retainer is required to reserve your date for larger bookings.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by learning about your vision, goals, and any important details for your session or event. Once we finalize everything, I'll help with planning, answer any questions, and make sure you know exactly what to expect. During the shoot, I focus on creating a relaxed experience so you can enjoy the moment. You will receive your professionally edited gallery through Pixieset, where you can view and download them at full resolution.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got my first DSLR at 16 (over a decade ago!), and I quickly fell in love with capturing meaningful moments and telling stories through images. What began with photographing friends and family has grown into photographing portraits, events, and weddings throughout Southern California. Over the years, I've continued learning and growing as a photographer, always striving to create timeless images that are authentic and true to each person's story. One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to meet so many different people and document some of the biggest moments in their lives. Whether it's a quiet portrait session or a packed wedding day, I love creating photos that feel natural, meaningful, and something you'll be excited to look back on for years to come.
