FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Integral Professional Coach™, with a unique background as an attorney and professional development leader, and a bachelors degree in psychology. I have more than 30 years of combined professional experience working in organizations with a variety of company cultures. Additionally, I have participated in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Mindful Self-Compassion trainings. I practice Insight Meditation. I completed rigorous professional coaching training and supervision programs to become certified as an Integral Professional Coach™. I was drawn to this methodology because of its blend of Eastern and Western philosophies and developmental practices, as well as having a holistic and embodied approach. Ultimately, the methodology is one that is customized to each client – to meet you where you are and support you in your unique development.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am passionate about working with people to bring out their best and help them make a difference in their own lives. I received my “wake-up call” when, in rapid succession, I lost two of my closest friends prematurely to illness. I became keenly aware that life is not a dress rehearsal. “And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” – Anais Nin
