Monica was so incredibly sweet, very good at explaining techniques thoroughly. Felt like I could ask questions any time. It was great to be able to see her explain the technique/application & then be able to try it myself so she could correct me if I was doing anything wrong. Shade recommendations were great! A makeup lesson was kinda of intimidating for me, but I could not have asked for a better teacher! :)

Monica did an amazing job on my makeup. I have sensitive skin that was really acting up and she made it look beautiful. It was the rainiest day LA has seen in a long time and she rolled with all the chaos happing before my big event without missing a beat. She is the loveliest person on top of being a fabulous makeup artist. I had so many compliments on my makeup. I highly recommend her.

Monica was so great!! She was super responsive and easy to work with over Thumbtack and on text, which was really helpful. She was very on time which I appreciated the morning of a wedding!

I only gave her a little direction (old hollywood glam) but she knew exactly what to do! She was super easy to get along with, friendly and always made sure I understood what she was doing and why she was doing it. There are so many makeup artists out there, many of them ridiculously expensive for what they do. Monica is very talented (can do hair, makeup, lashes, skin care, lessons, etc!!) and affordable too.

I would 100% use her again if I have an event in the area! Highly recommend!
