I would (and do) advise anyone looking for a pet care provider to absolutely meet the sitter face-to-face with their pet before booking any services. How your pet responds to a sitter and how they interact with your animals can make all the difference. A face-to-face will also set your mind at ease while you're away having seen your pet respond well to their caretaker.
