I contacted Eric in May and hired him to work on a several thousand dollar project in July.
Eric first appeared to be earnest and professional, despite some questionable signs. Eric asked me to give him an opportunity, and out of empathy, I dismissed those signs. BIG MISTAKE.
- Eric promised to have a crew of 2 for installation, but only had 1 person working on my project.
- Eric no-showed twice, late for 3 times. Gave various reasons that don't seem true to me.
- Eric raised price, no big deal, and said he promised to provide life-time guarantee. Unfortunately, he refuse to sign a warranty agreement with what he said.
- Eric said the price includes everything. Sadly, he decided in the end that I need to pay for the garbage generated by his work.
Overall, I recommend you hire a licensed HVAC contractor who has passed background check, ideally someone who held a business entity for years. Otherwise you'd run into my frustration.
