Alex and Daniel helped us with examining our home's duct as we suspected a leak due to insufficient cooling. They ran the leak test and informed us of all the air flow through each vent and gave informative tips to optimize the air flow with the seal. They went above and beyond by also inspecting our crawl space and putting back some broken vents in place even when this wasn't their issue to fix. Overall I highly highly recommend their service for duct and air optimization.

MaxSeal provided a very high quality of service at a very reasonable price for my Santa Cruz home. They came in lower than a competing bid but provided excellent knowledgeable and friendly service. Their communications with me were clear, they arrived and left on time, and their workmanship was exemplary. They analyzed and then fixed our vents and attic ducts efficiently, measuring airflow and heating efficiency before and after the work to clearly quantify the results achieved. When an unexpected problem with a duct was discovered, they came back with additional tools to investigate and solve it.I would recommend MaxSeal highly to anyone needing duct and vent services for their home.
MaxSeal LLC's reply
Ronald, thank you for the detailed review. We’re really glad you had a smooth experience with our team and that the results were clear and measurable. Taking the time to compare bids and still choosing us means a lot, and we’re happy we could deliver strong value along with quality workmanship. It’s also great to hear that the testing process and before-and-after analysis helped give you confidence in the improvements made. When unexpected duct issues come up, we always aim to address them properly rather than just moving forward quickly. We truly appreciate your recommendation and support.

Our PG&E always showed that our usage was much higher that other homes in our area. We have tried blocking vents, got a new ac unit, etc... nothing helped. I saw Maxseal on Instagram and it sounded like something worth trying. Alex and his team are amazing from the start. No strong arm tactics, just diagnostics that I could see and a great explanation of how the system works. I have to tell you, that I could IMMEDIATELY feel the difference . My vents are blowing so hard now that your hair is blowing in the wind! I'm so thrilled.
MaxSeal LLC's reply
Chris, thank you for sharing your experience. We’re really glad you noticed an immediate difference in airflow, that’s exactly what we aim for when the system is properly balanced and sealed. It’s also great to hear that the process felt transparent and pressure-free, we always want homeowners to understand exactly what’s happening and why. We appreciate your trust in giving us a try, and we’re thrilled the results exceeded expectations.

Alex from Max seal completed the sealing process for our house. The outcome was beyond expectation, reducing Air leakage by 80%, getting total leakage down to 2.3%. I put off making a review until I could get further confirmation from PG&E where latest two bill indicated I am using ~20% less energy the compared to year before (Gas + Electricity). The other remarkable metric is the quality of air in the house is greatly improved, we run a weekly robo vacuum (Skippy) and usually the bin is always filled, now the bin is always practically empty, no more stuffy noses, amazing. The whole process took about 6 hours. During the application, they have a PC running with a live plotting chart of Air flow loss in ventilation system, and you could see how in the application process the air flow losses gradually decayed until the process maxed out, real time verification of how the process actually works. Highly recommend Alex and his team, they did an outstanding job, in communication, effectiveness, and in professionalism, taking care not to make a mess anywhere. Overall, ~ $3K for 1800sq ft house, estimating ROI ~ 3 yrs, with the added benefit of a greatly improved quality of Life...

Timothy, thank you for such a detailed and thoughtful review. We really appreciate you taking the time to validate the results with real energy data over time, that kind of confirmation means a lot. It’s great to hear that the reduction in leakage translated into noticeable improvements in both efficiency and indoor air quality. We also love that you highlighted the transparency of the process and real-time testing. Being able to actually see how the system performs during the application is something we take a lot of pride in. Thank you again for your trust and for recommending us.

Amazing results from the process performed by MaxSeal! I was a bit skeptical as the product used sounded almost too "magical" but it really works. After a couple of hours of injection, all of the invisible holes in our HVAC ducts were sealed. How can we know? The air flow increased A LOT! It increased so much that we can hear the difference ! It actually revealed a small issue we had... our registers suck. With stronger air flow, some make rattling noise or couldn't stay properly closed, a sign of success from the process, even if it is a bit annoying that I had to change some ;)Finally, as a nice bonus, Alex the owner and Max who came to do the assessment and actual sealing process were super nice guys!
MaxSeal LLC's reply
Hugo, thank you for such an honest and detailed review. We completely understand the initial skepticism, it’s not every day you see something like this process in action. That’s why we rely so much on real testing and measurable results so homeowners can clearly see what’s actually happening inside the system. It’s great to hear you noticed the airflow improvement so strongly, even down to hearing the difference in the registers. And yes, sometimes improved airflow can reveal existing weak points in older registers, it’s actually a good sign the system is finally moving air the way it should. We also really appreciate your kind words about Alex and Max. It means a lot to the team.
