Introduction: One of my biggest life mottos is do what you love and love what you do. The key in being able to maintain any exercise program and see consistent results is enjoying what you do everyday. I am committed to working with you to find what’s most sustainable for you with your lifestyle and goals, whether it’s weight loss, building muscle, or enhancing performance for a given sport. As an athlete all throughout high school, I wanted a new challenge upon entering college. I started weight training and fell in love with the weight room. I became certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and went through extensive curriculum related to weight training and conditioning. My current style of training for myself is a combination of weightlifting and HIIT. I’ve been a trainer for 5 years now and love helping people meet their goals each and everyday.

Jo was not only kind, but took the time to make me feel comfortable and listen. A lot of other coaches don’t exactly hear me when I tell them my goals or ailments. Jo was patient which I appreciated and still challenged me to where it wasn’t always easy, but necessary. I’m grateful to have found someone to work out with that I do not dread to see weekly.

Jo is inspirational, fun, and an absolute pleasure to train with! As someone who has never been motivated to exercise, I was surprised to find how much I look forward to our sessions. She is great at addressing weaknesses before adding weight or intensity and is a stickler for good form and proper movement. Most importantly, you can tell that Jo genuinely cares about her clients and is invested in their success. Thanks to her, I'm in the best shape of my life.

Jo is genuinely one of the best personal trainers I have ever worked with. Her passion for exercise really shows and she is always willing to help me reach my fitness goals. I had a preexisting knee injury and she was able to modify my workouts, but still challenge me accordingly. You will not regret working with her as she is very kind and authentic.
