FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
YES! I still see exercises from the 1980's being performed, something that a trainer did as a kid in P.E. no doubt. There is so much research and development that is at our finger tips. There is no reason to be perpetuating these antiquated exercises. My latest interest is in the field of Neurokenetic Therapy. Its a combination of manual massage therapy and corrective exercises on a micro level. If you have a dysfunctional pattern or muscle relationship imbalance, it doesn't make sense to build on an unstable foundation. Instead this strips away levels of functional dysfunctions to get to the root of the cause which is usually stems from an old injury and years of compensations. I'm pursuing a certification in Neurokenetic Therapy so that I can better serve my clients.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The three areas that I am most sought out for are fat loss, toning and flexibility.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It is crucial to be aware that not all trainers are equal in their knowledge, experience or abilities to help you reach your goal. So ASK about their credentials and success stories of previous clients. In addition, just because someone looks fit and muscular doesn't mean that they know what's going to best for YOUR goals. Body building and fat loss are not reached through the same means.
