I have over 32 years experience in Acupuncture, Massage, Herbal Medicine, Nutritional Medicine and Dietary Medicine in the same location here in my office in old Downtown Encinitas near the beach. My focuses in Acupuncture include Electrostimulation, Cupping, Gua Sha, and use of herbal poultices and patches. I specialize in Deep Tissue, Sports and Asian Medical Massage Techniques, and have many years of experience in PNF stretching techniques. I am passionate about healing and relieving pain as quickly as possible for all my patients!
My sessions usually last an hour, but you can schedule for half-hour, 45 minutes, hour and a half or two hour sessions too. Acupuncture sessions usually include some specific massage work. Much of my practice is massage only, and if you're interested, I am more than happy to discuss health issues during the session.
Acupuncture treatment is $120 per hour for office visits (not including travel time for home visits). My California Acupuncture license number is AC4952.
Massage sessions are $100 per hour for office visits (likewise not including travel and set up time for home visits).

My First Call When I Have Health Issues
Mark Haskins is a legend. A guru. A sweet and kind man. When we have health issues in our family, Mark is the man to whom we turn for intelligent, functional solutions.
He's a TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) DOM (Doctor of Oriental Medicine) and trained acupuncturist. He is also a master bodyworker. He has a way of getting your musculature back into alignment through massage that comes from having a wide set of skills and training combined with a knack for intuitive healing.
Mark thinks holistically and has a veritable pharmacopeia of supplementation knowledge. He likes to solve health problems with plant-based options.
I truly feel blessed that I know Mark Haskins and am lucky enough to live in Encinitas where he practices. He is a rare gem. If you have any issues, he's a potent resource. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For Acupuncture there is an intake form followed by some relevant questioning. We then engage in further discussion regarding your problems during the session.
For massage, there is a brief intake, likewise followed by more in depth discussion during the session if necessary.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine 28 years ago. This is a four year, full time program. I then started working in my current location in Encinitas, focussing on Acupuncture, Herbal, Nutritional and Dietary Medicine as well as Massage Therapy.
