Hi and welcome ✨ My name is Darcey. I am a Decluttering Specialist, Professional Organizer, Certified ADHD Life Coach, and Owner of HALO & Co. LLC. I recently moved to San Diego from Vancouver, Canada, and am SO excited to work with new clients in a much less rainy place! 💫 What is HALO, and who is it for... HALO stands for Home And Lifestyle Optimization. I help individuals and families declutter, organize, optimize and redesign their homes, in order to cultivate clarity within their lives. Before we can organize a space, we must declutter. This can be an extremely overwhelming experience for many; one that can require significant time, energy and decision making. Very often it will also bring up difficult emotions of guilt, shame, fear and loss. I understand how challenging it can be to part with items that connect us to people, memories, feelings, passion projects, and our creativity in general. These "things" represent pieces of our past, our present, and often a desired future. I can also empathize with those who feel overwhelmed, overstimulated - and flippin over it! When trying to tackle these things on your own, it can be so hard to know where to even start, and the frustration of not seeing any lasting progress can be so infuriating. 💫 The HALO Method... I take a very holistic approach to working with my clients, ensuring that we are making changes that feel right and can be maintained over time. Though I love a good label maker, I do not spend time on creating Pinterest-worthy "perfection". Rather, the essence of my method is based on making the most of your space and working with what you already own, prior to recommending any additional items. I will simultaneously help you let go of what is no longer serving you, as we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My ultimate goal is to help you start your days feeling light, energized, happy and free, and to end them feeling accomplished, proud and settled in your space. As a surprise gift for my daughter while she and her children were away on vacation Darcy completely transform their kitchen and pantry, and the results were absolutely incredible. From start to finish, she was professional, courteous, and a true pleasure to work with. Her attention to detail is exceptional, and it’s clear she takes great pride in her work. She goes above and beyond in every way, and her warm personality makes the entire experience even better. I had such a wonderful experience working with HALO Organizer! From the start, she was incredibly patient and kind, which made things so easy for me because my situation was a bit complicated since it wasn’t all my stuff. She approached everything with openness and respect, always making me feel like a priority. Throughout the process, she was reassuring whenever I started to feel overwhelmed. Her calm, supportive presence really helped me stay focused. She’s also a genuinely kind and personable person, and an amazing listener. I felt completely heard and understood the entire time. Not only that, but she worked efficiently and used our time together so well. When we finished ahead of schedule, she even offered to help with a closet. I highly recommend her for all organization jobs!
