Introduction

I have over 30 years of teaching experience as a USPTA Certified tennis professional working with adults, juniors and accomplished Touring Pro's. I was mentored by Hall of Famers Pancho Segura and Pancho Gonzales from the age of 7 years old. Pancho Segura was considered by his piers to be the greatest tactician and technical instructor to ever play and coach the game of tennis. He was fondly referred to as the "Coaches Coach". Tennis has been a life long passion. I love seeing students faces light up after fully comprehending and correcting a technical or tactical error and then being able to apply the correction in match play. The greatest thing about my work is watching my young pupils mature as tennis players and grounded young adults. A parent giving their children tennis lessons is a gift that pays dividends their entire life. It opens doors everywhere they go and is an important tool in developing self confidence.

Words cannot describe how good of a tennis coach Gary is! Working with Gary not only helped me to become a better tennis player but he also helped me grow in my love for the sport. After teaching me and getting me to master all of the core shots you need in tennis as well as some fun trick shots, he has coached me in tactics and strategy. He’s made me a really smart player and I will forever be grateful! He’s also made me pretty intimidating to my opponents when they see my serve and my inside out forehand, my favorite shot of all time. When I compete in my High School tennis matches, I always get comments on my form and the flow of my shots and I give all the credit to Gary. Gary has also trained me and helped me develop my endurance through many different drills which are very fun and challenging. I absolutely love working with Gary and I’m beyond blessed to have gotten to learn from him for the past 7 years and still more to come. He is truly the best tennis coach I have ever had.

I've been teaching tennis since 1974 and have over 30 years of playing experience. I've been certified by the USPTA since 1985. Continuing education is a requirement to remain a licensed USPTA / RSPA professional. In addition, I am certified through the USTA and US Olympic committee's Safe Play program which includes annual national criminal background checks and stringent training and education working with young athletes. By nature I have always been a student of the game and study the Top 20 ATP (Male) & WTA (Female) professionals as well as the up and comers on a regular basis. I attend most major tennis events, schedule permitting.
